How many of you are still using iOS 7? I am holding off updating my iPad Air until I'm sure most of the music apps will function properly in iOS 8. Are there any still unresolved incompatibilities?

Thanks in advance!

i don't see myself upgrading for a while yet

From what I understand some of the Korg apps are still broken in 8 and seeing as PoySix is still my favorite iPad synth... welp.

Still not really sure what 8 brings to the table anyway. MIDI over Bluetooth I guess but I use an iConnectMidi for when I'm using Logic so no big whoop there.

Most apps have been updated and are working here.
The problem is that Audiobus has not been updated yet.

Audiobus itself was updated a couple of months ago. The problem is that the other developers haven't added the updated Audiobus SDK to their apps.

The Audiobus team has also mentioned another pending update within a couple weeks.

Reports of some apps that are supposedly AB ready, and iOS8 ready are not quite in sync yet.

Well, I see Korg has updated its apps to iOS 8 compatibility (including Gaget), so there is some progress being made. However, I am going to wait a little while longer... just to be safe.

I am also staying put with 7 until everything has been ironed out to my satisfaction. I am quite happy here with how things are running with 7 anyways. No big rush.

However, I would like to get iMovie on the iPad. When I try to download, the App Store says that I need iOS 8!

Any way to get iMovie? I thought that there was some kind of last compatible version deal, where if you had an older OS you could still download.

Any insights would be appreciated in regards to iMovie.

Thanks. :)
