only the wave table looks like serum, how long to develop just that? Seems like too much of a coincidence. They were working on a synth, then came serum, they said ooo, the gui likes nice there, recreated it..

I wish people would learn to read. He clearly said it wasn't Nave.jdnz wrote:the long awaited vst version of Nave?Ingonator wrote:And another wavetable synth will come soon which i am currently testing.SWallace wrote:Damn two excellent wavetables coming out around the same time. Really like the easy controls for moving through the wavetables on this one.

Yeah but the 3D wavetable display concept wasn't original to Serum anyway, Nave and Wavegenerator both had 3D wavetable displays before that.mysticvibes wrote:only the wave table looks like serum, how long to develop just that? oooh how much we wouldn't slag this synth if it wasn't made by Waves...
i am not a fan of wavetable synths in general, but i like that one... i prefer its sound compared to a few others as far as pads are concerned. but i'll still pass on it.

I guess that you meant to say: "Don't see why they don't implement more of their fx line like melda did in their synth?"mysticvibes wrote:Don't see why they don't implement more of there fx line like melda did in there synth?

I still remember when Waves had no synths and contacted us to sell our plug-ins at their shop. Looks like they are on their own now.

Why an account, why so much software download just to test the demo.
No thanks. So that is nothing. Take you an example of serum. Download the demo, install the demo and everything is good.
But not as complicated as in Waves.

on the contrary... the fact that Waves got Jack to do a spot is the ONLY thing that grabbed my attention...for a minute.robotmonkey wrote:Kind of bad that they chose a bearded hipster type to introduce it. Lost much respect.
do you really even know who Jack Conte is?

Hmm I was tempted, especially if it's obtainable for $49, however it's too tall for my laptop display (1366x768)!
