Yes you have to import it VIA THE IMPORT BANK function found inside the Xils3 LE V2 itself. ( Found in the Bank dropdown menu ) So put the soudset file anywhere on your HD, open Xils3 LE V2, use import bank function wich opens your OS browser, browse and locate the soundbank file and .... its done.

Maybe you had the same problem Mgribb ?

one more report for the "import bank" function not working on Windows 8.1 64x. I tried it in Flstudio and Renoise with admin rights, but the OS browser window never opens. Otherwise, thanks for the awesome deal!

Just worked for me.

With Reaper 4.7 in 32-bit in a Win7 64-bit.

But I never install anything in Program files nor in Program files (x86), always elsewhere (I have simply created a new tree C:\!32 and a new tree C:\64 and I install EVERYTHING in these trees)... therefore I have never any kind of issue (generally caused by the the strange authorisations behavior of Windows 7/8).

Another solution: deactivate definitively the bothering UAC.

Isn't it the issue I have related to Xavier a few weeks ago with PolyKB II player?

Ok ... I bought it with xilessentials. I got the email with my serial no. which says to download the latest version from the download section of the website.

Where is the download section? I can't see it ...

(edit) found the link in this thread. Never would have got there otherwise.

Sounds great but keeps crashing in Live 9.1.5 (3 times in the last hour).

sounds great, and is working fine on my setup. I need to move in some presets from the last version: how do I do that?

2 other things: I downloaded it, installed and it never asked for my serial number for the original version. is that the way it's supposed to go? I saw how some folks got asked a couple of times.

the other thing is I was going to go ahead and buy the new sound bank, but it says that my email is already in use (so I can't check out). tried to do the forgotten password button, but never received anything about it in my email. i'll try my old email and see if that works.

edit: just tried using my old email and that will work, but when I got to the payment part of the whole process, for some reason there were 3 sound banks in my cart instead of 1. couldn't find a way to edit that, so I just backed out. any other way to order?

No, the browser does not open when you press Import Bank. Nothing happens.

And do you have a file "XilsFiles64.dll"?

Both XilsFiles32.dll & XilsFiles64.dll are in D:\Samples\XILS 3.2

Create a copy of them in the directory D:\Samples\ and retry.

Yes it can seem strange, but try...

Do not move them (while it should work too) but by prudence, simply copy them without removing them from the place where they currently are.

A few weeks ago I've alerted Xavier about an issue exactly identical for PolyKB II Player and XILS 3 LE (old version) and I had managed to fix the same issue (the dialog box which doesn't appear when I try to import a bank) by doing that (after having tried other experiments). And I've explained it to Xavier to help him to find where is the flaw in the source code.

Xavier is currently working on the problem.

So, try this temporary solution while we wait for the correction from Xavier and Laurent.

Try it and tell us.

And for the others who have the same issue, do the same of course, but don't forget to open your Windows Explorer in Administrator mode if the plugin is installed in C:\Program files or in C:\Program files (x86).

Try the solution I give here... and tell us.

To move custom presets from the ancient to the new version :
1/ Open ancient versions, then export presets using the 'export bank' function
2/ Open new version V2, import the bank(s) you just exportedin step 1

To order the soundbank, I think you should log out of the site, close web browser,reopen it, clean your web browser cache, then try again. It should work. If this still doesnt work, please contact Xils-Lab via the site contact us utility, and your query will be answered in less than 24h ( usually)

the plugin does not keep authorized

i am on win7 with UAC disabled and with administrator right
is there a new version fixing this case ?
do i need to download it again ?
