Considering how much props have prided themselves on the fact that you can open any song from Reason 1.0 and have it play back the same in the latest version of Reason I'm guessing that this whole Line6 ordeal was quite a bother for them. At least I know that I wouldn't be happy if I were in their shoes.

Does r8 allow a larger vertical sizing of clips in the sequencer? I do some commercial work with audio-only and this has been a minor but noticeable issue.

no... vertical sizing is the same as it always was.. i.e too small, and not possible to do it track independent.

This is the one single issue here. Vertical sizing has always been to small. Hopefully, we may see an update on this...

not really any wow factors with v8 BUT workflow is vastly improved,browser is a joy to use,if your under version 7 it is well worth the upgrade

Which, now that I think about it was the way anti-DAW types tended to claim they were open minded about Reason but seemed to be quite the opposite instead.

FWIW i was very upset they let a certain member back in and not you and i said publicly you should be allowed back in period. I will also email them about it.

Why? In this forum you have been very vocal about Reason's status as an amateur DAW and against the VST blockout. Therefore i'm intrigued as to what 'wow' factors made you upgrade from your existing version.

I find that the workflow killers outweigh the workflow improvements, but appreciate that we all have our own way of working and assign a worth according to our needs. What was your need to upgrade, Fister?
