Well, it might be like "Korg 01/W" name! So maybe (It is my theory of course not depending on any facts!) PH managers told the designers "We want very light interface" (Light = not heavy) and then the designers understood it like (Light = Bright). Everything is possible!
The grey indicator for the main volume reminds me of the "mute" indicator in Cubase! Anyway, I really hope they change it in future releases with a nice design.
It reminds me also of Logic. I thought Apple would make a retro style of Logic 4/5 but with a better polished graphics in their X release. Anyway, I'm old fashioned it seems and things are getting either very dark or very bright (bright means light or shining here not smart!)
