Hm,
ifoundasound is not really a alternative. you really have to double click each sound to audition...
Any other alternative with waveform display, please

xbitz does it again
You are a wealth of information!
I feel compelled to mention; I see the Brothersoft logo in the picture. At one time this site was notorious for malware and virus infection.
I do not know the current status but can say that when I do a search for software and brothersoft is included in the results, Norton 360 gives a warning the site is a threat.
Just so all users can be aware and be prepared.
Happy Musiking!

The link provided leads directly to product's dedicated website. Brothersoft has nothing to do with it.dsan@mail.com wrote:I feel compelled to mention; I see the Brothersoft logo in the picture. At one time this site was notorious for malware and virus infection.

Yes, Loki, I realize the link and say with certainty xbitz provides credible and valuable information. This person has been extremely helpful every time he/she makes a post, so my post was not about that effort.
I made mention the "logo" in the picture is from a source that has been unreliable in the past.
Hopes this helps to clear any confusion that may have been created.

Our only official download location is http://resonic.at/download

We despise any kind of 'integrated installer' / malware kind of co-operation with software directory sites and other services promising to deliver us 'improved marketing', and if we ever stumble upon anything like that we'll make sure to take it down asap ... just fyi
Besides, Resonic Beta and Pro are coming...
Edit: typo

Thanks for the information lqb
Good to know you're on top of an issue like this.
I hope my post was not mistaken as an attack on Resonic or xbitz.
The purpose was merely to inform anyone unaware that the site in question (Brothersoft) can be a hazard and proper care should be taken.
With so many newcomers daily some may not know to be careful when downloading software.

We've been slaving away at Beta/Pro development for months now and I'd very much prefer to release it right now, but then again I've promised myself not to rush it. My confidence in this project is pretty strong, so I'd say better take a few more extra weeks and start off strong.mcnelson wrote:Ooh, looks like a very cool tool...what's the ETA on the pro version, and any indications of pricing?
To answer your question: ASAP. I'd really like it to be out before the year ends.
The pricing is not set yet, but let me do like a broken record again and say: it'll be a fair price for what it's delivering, and it'll be affordable.
What's probably interesting to early adopters of Resonic Pro: there'll be so-called Early Access licenses, which means users can hop on the train while the promised Pro features (like database search) are still being developed. This license is golden for all releases < 1.0. If users likes where development is going and they decide to upgrade to 1.0 they get the Early Access and some % off the 1.0 price. I think this is pretty fair try-before-you-buy and also helps us finance the months of development ahead.
