I paid my 4 euros and I couldn't be happier! No problems my end, works fine in Cubase Elements 7. There may be issues still to be addressed (and I'm sure they will be) but as it stands it's a great little noise-maker and a bargain at the price.

Bought yesterday with Xilssentials. Very nice sounding synth. I would buy Xils4 if it came serial protected or at least used the software only version of iLok (i.e. no dongle required).

its iLok OR elicenser protected, so if you use elicenser you can use the soft elicenser (no physical dongle)

Found this when i clicked the Upgrade button.

Shows all the feature differences in a nice grid, and also indicates that there will be a Beat Edition and a Special Edition besides the already mentioned Computer Music Edition.

I don't use elicenser. Since elicenser has a software option, it would be nice if the iLok software version were an option too.

Good job I saw this. I noticed Dont crack selling Xils 3&4 on sale and was tempted but don't use elicenser(what ever it is) or ilok.

Thanks a lot for all your kind words (and I apologize for the trouble some of you've got for authorising it on windows 7/8)

I also wanted to inform you that I uploaded a 2.0.2 beta version with a "reduced" GUI for those who have a small screen and can't see the whole interface. This option is moving the keyboard panel on the upper right side (in the same way I did for the XILS 3/XILS 4 synthesizers)
It is also fixing some typos ...

Thanks for the synth! Sounds very nice and seems to have a lot of potential.

The GUI is too large for my laptop-screen though and choosing "GUI:reduced" doesn't seem to change anything (I'm using Tracktion in Windows 8 on a recent Samsung laptop) Couldn't you just make a scroll-bar?

The offer was great, especially as I am against forcing people using Dongle etc for copy protection. But the LE Version works with normal serial which is fine. Thanx XIls, that´s one step forward finally!

I have a problem with my LE under Cubase 5, the version is registered but stops working after 10 or 15 minutes, I reloaded it very often, started Cubase again etc. but still I have this demo behaviour.

I think I read that they were going to offer different GUI sizes (somewhere in this thread), but in the mean time: click on the pill like button completey in the top right corner of the plugin window. It's at the level of the window name, just under the menu bar. It will remove the two rows of controls that Logic adds, giving you more space on the bottom.

Edit: look two posts up: there is a 2.0.2 beta that should allow you to move the bottom panel to another place.

What am I doing wrong? Entered the serial when asked, got the message to restart, did so, then the serial is requested again, followed by the same message, etc.
(Using the latest version 2.0.2)

Have you tried by launching your DAW as administrator?
