Im Looking for some Modular DAW with free patching system like this one:

But ofc - more modern.

Any recommendations?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by 'modern' but you could look at MULab, Bidule, Audiomulch, Usine etc
If you wanted something like this inside an ordinary host, there are others.

You have a pic of Buzz tracker there - its very old and outdated - automation for VST don't work ect and for native plugins is not in the form of drawable curves and lines - just a code with each step.

So modern - a Modular DAW wich is not archaic like the Buzz tracker.

Yeah, I knew it was Buzz, other people could have meant something different though. If its a tracker you're after, look at Renoise

I'd say try Usine, very powerful and modern, or Audiomulch.

It don't have to be a tracker - most important for me is free (Modular) patching system (not like this retarded routing in Cubase - not for me) and Bezier Curves automation and Ofc - Vst support.

If you liked Buzz, maybe you'll like Psycle. A bit unsure about the capabilties but as far as i can remeber it was similar and still gets updated.

next version of max/msp allows for drag and drop of maxforlive devices into a patch w/o any extra patching. can assemble things quickly and make music w/o even learning much.

then.. as you learn max you can make your own stuff and patch it any way you like.

watch the max7 sneak peaks. pretty amazing stuff.

buzz is great though.. as are audiomulch and bidule.

Just a warning not to purchase AudioGL, the developer has completely abandoned it. No updates for over a year and he hasn't replied to any forum posts in over 4 months.

If you are really looking for a modular DAW, imho, there is only one option: MuLab!!!!

All others alternatives mentioned here are either very "academical" and "experimental" or doesn´t have really a DAW approach...

MuLab is as easy to use as you want it to be but very deep if you want it without going too deep into the details and it is the cheapest solution of all here mentioned ones...

Actually Buzz has been updated just yesterday. Also vst automation is possible in the classic tracker way, just not (yet) with drawable curves.
