I've been playing with the reverb all day and find that it can be made to sound stunning to say the least.

On drums or other stuff? Mind sharing your presets?

On the master - just testing the existing pres. Have not really created anything yet. I like it! Seems to have a very clinical nature that I like.

I found it took me way to long to dial in a nice sound on anything from Melda that i couldn't do elsewhere much quicker, there is always 40 controls where one would actually do, and most of the finite tweaking results in nothing that can be heard once the mix is in place, sometimes simpler is just better (This is just for me personally)

I totally agree. The older I get the less energy I have to spend my time on overly complex plugins, I prefer simplicity and a clean, well-designed GUI (think Acon Digital or VVV) over features anytime, so Melda's products are not for me; but here are for sure lots of people who like tweaking, and for them Melda plugins must be heaven :)

I really like MMultibandconvolution. It has a ton of options, but I like that in this case. My go to verb is VVV and Vroom.

I think I just decided to not get MReverb after I pitched it against EAReverb SE. You could probably make something very useful and tailored in MReverb, but it took me less than 2 minutes in EAReverb SE, and I still haven't looked at the full EAReverb. MReverb left me unimpressed and feeling much the same as I feel for the T-Racks CSR reverbs.

In the hands of someone else, it might work wonderfully. I'm very fond of other Melda plug-ins that I own and use, but MReverb didn't win me over.

Can't really stand any of their GUI's. There's also better reverbs available.

Can somebody of the more experienced guys tell a noob like me what the "MDrummer forum incident" was? Please send a PM if it can't be discussed publicly.
If you plan on purchasing your first Universal Audio hardware, you can get a free additional plugin. Just send a PM.

While there is now the great MTurboReverb, I still use MReverbMB quite often. It's great if you want a shorter Reverb on the low frequencies and a longer one the midrange f.e on a bass guitar. Also I can automate every band to taste during different songparts.

Their GUIs are really uninspiring to me.

Relab Sonsig Rev-A is simply better in all aspects.

Well, yes!
It seems that an Excel spreadsheet nerd stumbled into audio effects.
