We are overdue a meeting with Chris Watson to discuss additional recordings. it's really a question of getting an idea of what may or may not lurk in his archives, since there is so much varied material, and thousands of hours of it. It seems to be a question of knowing what to ask for, and therefore knowing in advance what it might sound like.

A bit of a challenge..

RE: scripting automation - we know WHAT to do, it's just that it's a huge job in Geosonics due to the way it was built and the hundreds of presets. it may be better to incorporate Geo1 into Geo2 and start from scratch there.

That sounds like a good idea. Also K5.4.1 snapshots might come in handy as well - to reduce the number of NKIs a library has (I'm thinking the NKI itself does NOT have to be made in v5.4.1 - you can supply .nksn files independently for 5.4.1 users to reap the benefits).
