I purchased TimewARP2600 several months before.
I tried to authorize it several times but iLok manager2 continues to indicates "No available" .
A month ago Jim sent me mails, in the last one, he said he had correspondence with Pace Anti-piracy and it would be enable to deposit a license to my iLok account.

But now still no license in my account, no reply from him though I sent messages a few time.

wow.. that's a drag. he should really suspend sales until he gets it sorted out.

appears there has been an update. shocking.

i didn't think it would happen.

and it seems confusing though.. has there been an update???? i'm not sure for mac. their site has no new info but the news blurb on kvr has all the details.

you'd think they'd put that info on their site. i guess they want to confuse people

Are there any improvements in stability? I remember it being quite unstable when I tested way back.

yeah.. i couldn't even get it to install the last time i tried to demo it. was useless.

hopefully the info on the kVR news blurb makes it to the timewarp 2600 product page.

exactly. where is any of the information people need to make a decision about buying it???

seems it's only in the KVR press release :help:

I think the 1.5.3 beta version from the WOW front page is 64 bit, too.

In addition to that, I believe this "re-mastered*" version is supposed to also offer some latest OS compatibility... for Mavericks, at least (maybe Windows "whatever-integer-they're-on-now," too?).

*They just make that up, right? (never heard the term in this context before)

Hello this new version was built for Air/Sonivox for online distribution and inclusion in our Advance Music Suite.
If you have a serial number we would be happy to provide the new installer if you contact us sbangs@airmusictech.com if your licence is exclusively locked to iLok you will need to request a code from WOW.

They are running a Feb promo now. When was the last update? How stable is the 64bit vst?

The 64 Version is stable, but I wasn't able to authorize it in ableton 64, I had to take Cubase LE for authorization. And I am not able to open my Ableton projects I performed with the demo version - it chrashes. But in a new project I had no problems this weekend, I think it's stable, but it doesn't show the name of the preset, if you reopen a project.

It's been 50% off since the summer apparently, when they were a few days from releasing the demo. But then the demo never came and they kept the sale going until the demo was available. At least that's what they said. But no demo. I don't understand what's going on with them.

I took one look at the price and my jaw almost dropped to the floor.

$250 for an ARP 2600 emulation? Seriously?

After everything I've read, I'm so glad I didn't even bother downloading a demo. Real shame because this could have had potential.

A real head scratcher if you ask me.

you can try the 32 Bit demo on Way out Ware, the 64 bit version worked for me, but wasn't able to be registered in ableton live. Also Projects i made with 32 Bit Demo, couldn't be loaded with the 64 Bit full version. But the new version works so far.
