If you'd change a preset while the host is running, Cream could get out of sync or the output is not correct at all due to several reasons. Not every DAW has a good midi implementation (or several other problems) which leads to the fact that preset switching while playing will cause problems in some circumstances, so we decided to disable that particular feature.

It's works fine in other step sequencers. Just add a panic button on any rare occasion where notes get stuck.m
Ps, while you have a captive audience from the CM edition why not run a sale and grab some new customers
