I just uploaded the two tracks for Donk with the delay effects printed to them (since that was kind of the whole desired feel, ala The Verve

); but I also PM'd him and told him that if he'd like some more dry versions as well to work with, I'd be glad to upload those too.

Hihih, ubercool, strangely remindied me of some of ver zep's softer stuff!

Right, sorted the slide version out, left the bits as they were, apart from bringing the louder one in later by 4 bars, top job by the bald bloke!

Also, took out the z3ta for the upbeat bit (couldn't really hear it anyway, and it was killing me cpu

), turned down the strings a bit and brought them in slightly later, added a few vocal spot effects (a la SF's suggestion - nothing too radical, just a few delays here and there), and turned up the vocal slightly for the last bit.

Hmmmhmmmm, no offense meant, Mr. Tugger, but are you sure you trimmed Hars guitars properly? Timing seems to be all over the place, compared to the version he's been posting.
Sounds like the old MP3->Wav = added silence in the beginning thing.
Solution: Proper count ins to line things up or using WMA, which doesn't introduce these gaps on reconverting.

Oooos! Wrong mp3! I did a mixdown then realized it was 1/4 of a bar out, but never overwrote it. Never do stuff early in the morning

Hey donks, that's one of the nicer tracks I've heard here for awhile. Supreme build-up, & real pleasing to the ear man, great job!

but where's the trance lead?

edit: I'm refering to 'slide away', I see more than one song link here & I'm lost

Just one litle remark, I was very surprised by the ending, perhaps a bit to short
