What does it have to offer over tkdelay? Is it redundant to purchase both? I know H-delay has various analog modes.

oh! ahah.
I wonder if it's a coincidence or if I should hire some business men and analysts :)

No. honestly I would say just download the two demos and give it a try. That's surely the best way to make your choice or see if you would use both.

I bought yours already, a great value btw! I feel like waves is starting to copy freelance coders. Serum and now this..

Why do you persist in repeating this groundless rumour? It has been shown that there was no 'copying' involved at all, just a coincidence that WT is in the air.

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

Hey, I bought Codex. I just find it odd. Could I be reading into it too much? Sure I could be.

Delays are a bit like compressors, there are LOTS of them!

What can this one do that others can't?

+1

I've had my eye on this, but for no reason I can fathom.

Surely Timeless2 can do all this and more.

I don't need it.

It's a very easy to use "old school" delay and not so much a "creative delay effect". Only one delay line so there are some limitations. But it has a ping pong mode and a modulation option, so it can also sound very crazy like a tape delay.
I don't like so much this analog noise option. I turn it down every time.

H-Delay seems to have a lot of fans, many preferring it directly after Echoboy. I use H-Delay _very_ often but for more creative effects you need a additional different delay (like Ohmboyz or Fabfilter Timeless, Echoboy).
So.. it's very good to have. I love H-Delay!

It's about the sound...

Even for that price i don't need the H-Delay as i don't need WUP which makes any sale redundant. Pretty much covered anyway (okay.. ..i bought tritik's already). :)

PS. Boz-Digital is about to release a delay as well.. ;)

i remember trying it years back, and quite liking it. it's funny, because i think the gui influenced the way it sounded to me. i remember the whole thing looking, feeling and sounding really solid. trying again, a few years later, i much preferred logic's tape delay

the pull of the no-brainer nearly got me again, but i just don't need it :phew:

I like the øl and ør buttons

In my tongue that means beer and dizzy :D

And what great Waves service, if you leave items in your basket at checkout, they will send you weekly reminders

Oops, was there a problem checking out?

I don't think you need to buy a upgrade/update for the next years ;) If you buy H-Delay you have covered WUP for 1 year and you can use it also in 5 years without updating. You must not renew the update plan every year!

H-Delay is great. If I didn't already have it I would buy it again.
