There are things that Serum can't do that WaveMapper and Wavegenerator CAN do, you know?
My quote is related to Ingonater not to you.
You are more boring, which I see on your silly statement.
Beside this tell exactly what this Wavemapper and Wavegenerator can do more and/or better than Serum.
Do we really have to compare every existing wavetable synth to Serum now? Seriously?
Like every anlog emulation was comapred to Diva until the point where i started to fu**ing hate Diva (don't worry, i like it now while Tone 2 Saurius is still my "go to" VA synth...)?

You simply don't seem to get my point about the fact that there are different wavetable synths with different feature sets and different basic sound and most of them are great on what they could do.
Those "one synth for everything" approaches are silly IMO.

You simply do not seem to accept that some people prefer certain synths for what they are (the whole package of sound and features) and not because they have the biggest feature set etc. (BTW Serum still misses an Arp + Step sequencer...).

Do i have to feel "guilty" because i own a bunch of wavetable synths (and mostly know how to actually use them...) but not Serum? No i don't...

Besides this of course i am currently not allowed to tell all details about Wavemapper 2 or post screenshots and/or audio demos as there is no official release yet.

I don't favourite the approach of "one synth for everything" because also have some very different Synths as those Wavetable-Synths.
I compare all other Wavetable-Synths to Serum because in my view it has the most and newest inovative features. If there will be one day a more feature-rich Wavetable-Synth I will compare all others to this, so simple.
Codex has of course also some unique aspects and a more analog sound but not that mass of features regarding wavetable editing.

I accept if people like Codex but I want especially also support a small company (xferrecords) with inovative products and therefore I argue more for Serum than others.

Wow, this thread suddenly went into 'boring german meltdown' mode.

Have you made any JP Brass wavetable presets? If so, please explain in 10 paragraphs or more.

Danke...

Well.

Can we please get over the pee contests here?

They are all good at what they do. Difference people. Difference.

Wow, my old "friend" Kriminal is back too, makes me feel very "comfortable" here...

I really hope this does not get totally derailed like usually when we are both posting in the same thread.

Sorry but reading your previous posts you're not very helping with that attitude.

How does Wolfgang Palm's copy protection work? I read that it's Challenge and Response, does this prohibit me from having the software authorized on multiple computers (desktop and laptop)? Do I need to deathuorize one to authorize the other?

Still, I like his POV here. If XFer is indeed such a small company, more attention is justified to put them on the (wave)map.

Wolfgang Palm also a small developer, you know.

You got me wrong. I really like Steve and Xfer Records and I plan to get Serum before the end of the month. But I don't think MorpherX is really helping with that attitude. It's ok to talk about a product/company but not being arrogant and disrespectful to the opinion of other people. He's not helping at all this way.

You're right. But maybe he didn't mean it like that.

EvilDragon, one more post!
