Anybody here using a Korg NanoKontrol2 with Ableton Live

I'm considering buying one of these but have a question beforehand.

The NanoKontrol has 8 sliders that obviously control the first 8 channels of Live.
If I move the channels across one (ie, so that 2 - 9 are visible), does the NK follow or is it still locked on the first 8?
