Hey guys,
Here's my latest song Mesmerizing. I want to make a final version but I'm having a hard time figuring out how to EQ the different parts in the song.
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers.

I am missing that sparkle in the high end in the mix. It seems there is too much emphasis on the arped lead here. The mix should need some eq'ing to allow for the percussion and high end sounds to follow through the strings and leads. It seems to muddyify quite a bit in the higher frequencies.
Like vurt before me said a bit basic in its build and somewhat formulaic.
That dont make for a bad track though.
Have a try at re-mixing this one with different panning and EQíng for the various elements
But most of all have fun with it, and let your ears guide you.

Vurt:

I like "the" formula

I like the chords but perhaps a real melody on top of it would do the trick.

As trance by numbers goes - it's a trance by numbers track.
Some good sounds, a good groove, but all been heard before, a thousand times.
