I don't think he defeated them, it was more of a encounter type of thing. But he was well prepared and made it out alive.

Later on, it was Prince Jammy who wiped them away:

Great album but even better was when he rid the world of the curse of evil vampires :)

Ha, now that sounds like a proper concept album, "ras.s sets the historical record straight". I can feel a trilogy coming... Maybe a few spinoffs too.. and an addendum..

Those lovable Nelson brothers went so dark that they almost got dropped by their label
Wikipedia wrote:They came up with a concept album that Nelson described as "really dark and brooding and angry". Gunnar described the concept as being "about the machine that is the media. That same machine that built us up and was also ready to tear us down". The album comments on society's dependence on technology and media to make decisions, and how people should take control of their lives and their choices.
Sounds really interesting on paper, sounds like bland AOR on youtube

..so I have to answer, not enough.
Scientist also met the space invaders and presumably defeated them as well. He's a hero to us all.
Indeed ... and shortly afterward he went on to win the world cup.

He is a hero to us all :hail:

By 2112, the world is controlled by the "Priests of the Temples of Syrinx," who determine the content of all reading matter, songs, pictures — every facet of life. A man discovers an ancient guitar and learns to play his own music. Thinking he has made a wonderful discovery that will be a boon to humanity, he goes to present the guitar to the priests of the Temples, who angrily destroy it and rebuke him for unearthing one of the "silly whims" that caused the collapse of the previous civilization.

Kilroy was here tells of a future where rock music is outlawed by a fascist government and the "MMM (the Majority for Musical Morality)"

Mylo Xyloto tells the story of a war against sound and colour by a supremeist government
Yes, you have discovered just one aspect of the pretension that is prevalent in progressive.

I don't think any band named "Styx" is out to do anything but harm.

Magma's first album. "In the course of this album, the band tells the story of a group of people fleeing a doomed Earth to settle on the fictional planet Kobaïa."

Does War Of The Worlds count? NIN's Year Zero would have to be in this list too, i reckon.

A/C D/C will probably be the ones to save the world. I listened to the money talk, and wow, that was real natural.
