Forgive my ignorance but somehow I've managed to hose Kontakt 5's Mixer Output settings and saved a default that doesn't allow Multi's to over ride it. Does anybody know how to get K5's mixer outputs back to factory defaults ? I've tried all the options in the Presets/Batch Configuration drop down but to no avail. Thanks in advance for any help............

EvilDragon will probably know. You may want to PM him.

Otherwise the only thing I can think of is a re-install. But this will cause you to lose any saved user set-ups I'm sure.

Reinstall seems a bit extreme. You're right, Evil Dragon is the resident Kontakt expert. If he doesn't respond here I'll PM him...........

Zombie Queen knows a lot about Kontakt also. Maybe one of them will drop by.

The way I do it is go to Add Channels and tick "Delete existing channels before creating new ones", then add however many output channels you need.

After doing that you can make this output setup default. And (recommended) save it as a preset.

Thanks I'll give that a try.......the problem I'm having is loading Steven Slate Drums Multi's no longer loads the proper Mixer Outputs. I'm not sure what setting is needed to get the Mulit's to override the default mixer configuration as they did before.

EDIT: Hmmmm you wouldn't happen to have the default configuration saved as a preset would you ?
EDIT 2: Don't know what I did but it seems to be fixed now. Mulit's load with the proper output assignments. Thanks for the help!

After changing the outputs it's always best to reload the Kontakt instance. Some DAWs take to it worse than others.

How to Reset Kontakt 5's Mixer Outputs ?
