In desperate need of your drum synth abilities. Just listen!

Ok. As you all know, I am endeavoring to gather a metal group from around the US to collaborate on a large and probably never before done project.
The ultimate goal is to find "band members" for each main spot you would see in a usual band. (Think similar to the "Dream Team" post...)
Currently, I am doing some mixing.
Have a great guitarist who can put together some great loops really fast.
Have a talented lead singer. (Female)
But we desperately need two positions filled.
-(1) A drum synth player, or better yet- someone with Electronic Drums.
-(1) Mixer. Someone to help overview the music creation, engineer the track, loop the music etc.
My main suite lies in covering the business side of things. So I am really looking to use my experience as a Producer in the game industry to try and get this project finished and maybe... sold. I am confident in my abilities and pleasantly surprised with the talent I have found thus far.
Please hit me back with any questions you may have. We are already working on some tracks right now but we DESPERATELY NEED a Mixer and Drum Synth artist.
I know there are loads of artists on KVR who can do this. Please hit me back with any questions.
I can send samples as well.

hey man,
I realized when I saw this post that I never replied to your last e-mail. This deserves an explanation.
As enticing as getting involved in a project sounds to me, I got the impression that you're trying to jump straight into production with little to no breaking-in time. I'm sure that there's members here who don't have a problem with that, but my background in music making demands a sort of relationship-forming that would probably in your case take a back seat to getting produced. This may be a residue of my garage days, but even if it sounds like I'm intimidated by success, I would like some time to get in sync with my fellow band mates.
I guess I'm saying that your pace is too fast for me. As I mentioned, I'm still building what I'll be using here, & I'll need more time to get it together, which in all likelihod, will be too late for your intrests.
This is an aggrivation for me, becuase if I had all my gear at the ready, I would jump on this, but that's just how it is, so I'm gonna wish you success in your endeavor. Considering you've filled your guitar slot, I'm hardly of use as a drum programmer as that's my Achille's Heel.
By the way, this month's KvR competition is based on a metal track, so...you're gonna have probably about 30-50 entries that you can pick & choose from to make your offer.
As a more direct suggestion, I would recommend you talk to donkeytugger, he's a great musician, & kicks out songs like they're nothing. He won last month's competition; check out his track, it smokes. Kriminal is another great, & he's more or less the acknowledged beat master here, so even if he can't get onboard with what you're after, he may be able to give you a good referal.
Best of luck to you, & if you ever decide to front a 'garage' act less production oriented, please gimme a ring. These days I just wanna jam, I don't care much about producing any LP's..been there done that.

Hey Sickle. Actually, we arent trying to jump into Production. We are organising right now. Having IM meetings, messing around with tracks and loops, listening to music, sending each other music, being very expieremental to find out what all we can do. Death Metal, Thrash, Metalcore, Mild/Dark, Heavy/Slow... Going to be trying it all to start off, see what we can do. So we would prefer to have members who dont mind expierementing too much with the music.
Yeah I have heard great things about alot of the members on KVR and have heard some kick ass beats here. So I know there is a load of top talent here, its just a matter of finding members who are interested in this project.
And I also had noticed the Metel Competition. Will definitely be sitting back and enjoying the tracks I hear.
Dont hesitate to ask any questions or make comments folks.

Ok, we have just barely started messing around with tracks, but as you can hear below- my drum synth is... shall we say "out of comission" and we desperately need someone to work on the drum synths.
http://reverieentertainment.net/Misc/DARKriffs.mp3
By the way, that is an unfinished track. The current drums in there are just "placeholders" for the drums to come and as you can hear, the track is not finished. Plays two verses without any choruses. But as I am sure you know, the track will greatly improve from its current state, this is like an hours worth of work.

As I said before, we are going to be doing quite a few different styles of metal music. Our first 4 or 5 tracks will each probably be exploring different styles of metal music.
So we are looking for someone with a creative ear as well as talent.

can you post any seperate tracks so we could download, have a play, upload any tracks we produce and you could see what you think.
I think you'll get more people offering their skills then.
I'll certainly give it a go.
you can listen to my contest entry (which is not metal really but shows what i do with beats) and also listen to some of my other music here and see if you want me to give it a go, none of it's metal but it's up to you.
steve.

Yeah I am sure I could probably upload some loops and have people mess around with them. Although, thats not the way we would prefer to do. Been contacted by quite a few people, but we still want to hear from everyone. So- dont hesitate to e-mail or post any questions or comments you have.
