Hey MiBaMiBa wrote:Hi Bo,
uncheck "write protect" of that file.
Thanks - but "write protect" is unchecked.
That was the first thing I looked for when this problem happened.
Thanks anyway -

I've just installed my 16th Rhino bank B&B2 (more than 1000 presets now!) and have no problems in my registered Rhino 2 SP1.
Download is more than 5 MB because of new waveforms!
Is absolutely worth the little money

Tick,For those who enjoy my sound design work, I've been actually considering doing more sample work - Here are 2 loops I've done (of course they're Rhino + various other unreleased effects) - just let me know what you think.
aside from everything else, including Daniel's exceptional work, I'm of the opinion that the fx section of rhino is also something that sets it well apart from other synths.
I'd be very interested in any work you make available. I'd very much like to see a rhino fx, as some vsts have managed to break off their fx section into a separate vst.

But I get a Rhino Error saying "Invalid Patch/Bank Format" when I try to load BnB2 into Rhino 2-sp1.

Most probably you're using the SP1 version that was distributed to a few users before its official release. Please install the official SP1 from my site, I really think this should fix it. You don't need to download the big 14 Mb file, just get the SP1 zip update.

Hey Tick
Yes you're right - that was the problem.
It's working fine now.
All the best

sure Tick responds to real problems, but not so much to begging and pleading.
I'm saying if you have unreleased effects, you have people wanting those effects (with the possible exception of Makunouchi Bento). Your effects are exceptional.
and that's why I'd like them split into a rhino fx plug
because in my dream world, as good as something like Tera can be, imagine what it could be with rhino's effects.
maybe you and Harry Gohs should go to lunch and talk about it.
anyway sopmething to think about on your vacation.
have a nice time away.

Daniel, just listened to the examples. Wonderful work as usual. The other two banks are just as wonderful as well! What a steal at the asked for price.

Gee, could you have spent your day reading #k-v-r logs ? Anyway, thanks wrench. A BigTick megafx-station is indeed something I'm investigating for my next project. But of course it has to be much, much more than the Rhino fx section....
that's great news, excellent.
as is Daniel's bank now that I've downloaded it and run through the sounds. i had the usual high expectations but once again, Daniel raises the bar

As requested, here is a list of the new waveforms included with BnB2:
Synth trumpet 1
Trumpet Section
Trombone
Gliss 1
Drum Loop 2, 3, 4, 5
Snare Crash
Finger Bell
Virtual Sitar
Timpani
Trem Flute
Finger Bass Snap
Wood Bass
Finger Bass 01, 02
Popped Bass
Strat 1, 2, 3
Fret Noise
Humbucker
Thump Bass
Gospel Spinner
Jazz Cat
Pluck 1
Spectrum 01
Bottle
Jehovas Breath
Ahhh
Dooo 2
Clavinet
Many of the new waves in the 2.0 factory bank were my creation also. So as you might expect, BnB2 uses these, too. But Rhino's strength is it's flexability with these waves and that's how I've tried to program the patches; beyond how a sampler might simply lay them out across the keyboard.

Thanks Daniel, very impressive list. I was really hoping there would be some vocal oohs and ahhs waves so I'm gald to see a couple included. Of course Rhino's strength is not as a sample plyback instrument but what you can do with those samples with Rhino's flexability. I keep wanting to hear a nice clean vocal oooh on one osc and some sonic mayhem on the other osc's.I'm ordering BnB 2 right now.
