how to turn cds to wav. mp 3 .

I always used to use this then got lazy; realized Windows media player could now rip to mp3 at the quality I wanted in a fraction of the time CDEx took and had a pile of CDs to rip so...larm wrote:http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/
Been lucky and had no issues with the rips so far, guess it takes a lot longer due to error checking?

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe you didn't have the right ASPI driver on your system. I saw CDex relies on that, and with a bad driver, it could take siginificantly longer to rip the CD's. Can't really be the error checking, because EAC does that, and it is very quick.
