Hi

I would like to see templates for rythmatic loops - I don't have the time to fully explore this aspect of Rhino - but there are some nice rythmatic patches which I would like to see expanded - but rather than be fixed with a particular presets sound it would be nice to be able to place the template 'over' a patch - is this possible?

There are a few rhythmic envs templates in the "Envelope Settings/rhythms" folder. So if you take a preset like, say, "Liquid Bells Loop", and do that:
-Go to OSC1 tab and load Osc1 Level Envelope (right-click and select "Load Env"), select one of the rhythmic presets (for instance, "Tramper 1").
-Do the same for OSC2
-Do the same for OSC3

and you've done a new rhythm template for the existing preset :-)
This said, I agree there is room for more rhythmic envelope templates.
[teasing mode on]I actually do have quite a few, that I've been keeping for my personal sound design projects... [/off]

Thanks for the info - I suppose i should also create some mind bogglingly raunchie envelopes for my own projects as well!

Hi

I like the way that cameleon has a menu to drop in a rythmic envelope - it would be nice to have something in the drop menu that comes up when you click over the envelope - giving a whole range of templates - perhaps something that might be developed later?

I would LOVE to see Rhino users trading Env's,Seq's,.Wavs and Effects settings.Having said that I don't really have anything to contribute at this point.Could there be a page at the Big Tick site where users can upload/download settings? :)

Yeah that'd rock. I'll see what I can do :-)

i second teksonics idea -- having a place to share rhino stuff would be great. shared items could be as little as links to sysex data or as much as ".wav" sets.

ive got some rhino stuff in development that i could share.
