Another very nice freebie

But I don't like the GUI, I don't see the need for the big keyboard, I would rather use that space to show all the OSC, LFO and filters at the same time. I'm not so fond of switching between 1, 2, 3 to see settings for each, it makes it rather more difficult to figure out how a patch was made.

For the record: sometimes the synth stops putting sound out (especially when playing an arpeggiated sequence); it seems to work ok (knobs moving, preset name changing), but there's no sound. The fix: reloading the plugin. Used in FL Studio 11. At first I thought it may be the DAW (or machine), but I went through all my synths multiple times in different sessions and Vaccin is the only only behaving like that.

I suspect the matrix,
you could try changing the selector menu when it locks,
it's just a guess though.

You've got the demo version though freeware. Inside it is written:

If (user=="idfpower") SetVersion ("Demo");

np- Johan if you want to fix this bug,
the reason I thought that was because I had a glitch with bussing recall,
(nothing to do with parameters)
when I modded the Phenom from your structure.
It's something to do with the way busses merge and are created/read,
that's my best guess once more

weird bug though
also another suspect is the poly porta, it is a reasonably testbench component ie. new
I have another 2 if it turns out to be that

edit- another possibility for the bug is the MIDI/Ruby interfacing in the keyboard

Yup, basses and plucks are particuarly impressive

Coming to think of it, same goes to leads

If the "going silent" issue gets solved, it will be a keeper for sure.

Quick friendly bump, just trying this synth out, wondering why no one is talking about it in 2015,
I made some presets for it but will have to upload somewhere else since kvr doesn't have this
page in it's product directories so I can't upload to kvr but audiobombs will take them

If you have got some new presets I will listen to it, but I've got so much projects at the moment (4 Tune, VACS, ClubVoltage and 4Snow) and maybe also for my old Vaccin, Subtraxx 5 etc...

Heya,
I got the source for this synth offa Johan,
and the UI is just candy.
I worked for the last 2 days doing optims and mods-
just taking the thing and making it one I want as a keeper.
It now resides in my VST folder.
I reduced the parts by around 7000, and cpu by half.

So what I did was leave his implementation,
hopefully all the parts work as they did before.
The osc forms have changed though.
As befits a Vaccin, the forms from Virus C are present again.
We have word from Marc Schlaile at Access that the forms the Virus produces are not copyrighted.
I'll write to him again soon though, it doesn't feel that great to me.
Just to let him know who he is dealing with on this one.
I can actually sample the TI now,
but I gotta talk to this guy.
There are 62 forms ripped from Viral Extinction, the Reaktor ensemble.
The filters are more organized, and there are 3 sorta character ones at the end.
Automation params are now tidy, and MIDI learn won't send the plug bonkers.

So I hope you like our effort,
this ver is 0, there are no presets- let me know what is broken.
