There is an acoustic version of this song, but I can't find it. If you know who makes them can you list them off? It was a studio recording, not live.

There's a Fun Lovin' Criminals version, but it's more smooth, easy listening than acoustic:

Surely there must be consensus by now...

I'm sure I have that on a Classic Rock CD somewhere. It was a girl singing?

EDIT: Don't think it's the Video planet ugh mentions and I don't seem to have the CD anymore. If I remember I'll post. I'm sure the version I'm thinking of came with Classic Rock Magazine if that helps!

This bluegrass version perhaps?

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

The Iron Horse version is the closest to what I remember, can't remember for sure. It's close to it and sounds good :) I remember the vocalist singing a bit quieter, and possibly a string accompaniment. It was more 'intimate' but had the same vibe.

It could have been a different lyric, because I just don't know. It used the same line as the original in the "crazy train" part, but I can't be sure the verse was the same.

OMG, the song wasn't Crazy Train, it was Have A Cigar, if you know of covers to this song, I would really like to know.
