Since this thread has run for quite awhile is there a changelog of what has been updated since the last official release version ?

Of course. In the included docs that nobody reads. And on the features page that nobody reads.

All the more reason to post it here where people actually are reading......

I do! Every time I've announced a new update in this thread I've included the changes in the post.

(There are even more changes than the Changes list shows. But not all of them are fit for public consumption. Details about the auth system, etc.)

I also forgot one. The OSX version should now prompt for overwrite of patch, bank and MIDI-map files. (I actually forgot to test this so let me know.)

And yes, for the moment Windows backgrounds still aren't working, and you have to hack the resources on the Mac to change it there. Sorry, blame all this on the Mac people who told me they'd buy it if it was x64. I expect that will be restored for the next update. (But the Beta sale will be over at that point.)

Maybe if you could post the important changes to the Windows version it might become clear that updating makes sense but everything is working just fine now.....have my custom background.....so it seems like I should just stay put for awhile....

There's been some minor bug fixes but yes, it's mostly the same on the Windows end. (I was hoping to get something wonderful added during this Beta but it's still not completely baked so will have to wait for a later update.)

I used the last final vers until now which worked with a serial.

Now installed the latest Beta and requested a new key file (protection changed with v1.2). Actually i got a reply with the new key file around 5 minutes (or less) after sending my email!!

Had to create a new folder and copy the key file there. Works nicely here at Windows 7 64-bit and Live 9 64-bit.

The good thing about the new key file seems to be that this will work on any computer. in the past you had to ask for a new serial when changing the computer or OS.
