Probably because that's a pretty standard midi sequencer and this thread is more about the more experimental ones.

Not sure if it was already mentioned, but definitely:
Sundog from feelyoursound.com
It is in deep develpment, random functions etc. on the way but the existing very unusual and nice looking version already has tons of possibilities.
I used to combine it with the great Machines from the now gone (sigh, R.I.P. you great man !) H.G..
How more experimental you could get then combining automated raga mamata from H.G. X-Wof with raga mamata patterns from Sundog (at least when you are an old lazy dog like me

Max7's hosting of Max4Live devices might be of interest...

also Max7 makes using BEAP very easy too... Id never touched it before, and was able to get multiple sequencers and LFOs playing nicely together within minutes, really great funwhyterabbyt wrote:Max7's hosting of Max4Live devices might be of interest...

I don't like to think I've abandoned Elysium but, for sure, I have been a bad parent these last few years.aMUSEd wrote: there is also Elysium but it appears to no longer be being developed

The site I was publishing Elysium on lapsed some time back and I never got around to rehoming it. I'll do that and maybe post a link as it works fine up to 10.9 and I've no reason to believe it wouldn't work on 10.10 either.
I tried to do an update a few years ago but the build process I had (from 10.5 days) was completely broken in an updated Xcode and it felt like more effort to fix than I had time for. Might give it another go.
Never enough time...
