What??? 8 pages of posts and nobody's mentioned Lisa Gerrard? Her solo track "Waves become Wings" on the first This Mortal Coil album is so powerful it actually affects me on a genetic level.

Oh, and while we're at it, Liz Fraser and Robin Guthrie's version of Tim Buckley's "Song to the Siren" is on the very same album...

...christ, I'm welling up just writing about these songs...
