We have a lot of cool things in the works. Right now, they are mainly smaller plug-ins like Sandman. If we can dedicate ourselves to this on a more full-time basis, we have some really fun plans for that.
Yes we have really fun plans for a number of plugins all costing less than $299. :tu:

Thanks for the good vibes everyone. Sound demos, suggestions, and requests are always welcome.
re suggestions:
are you happy developing in the frequency domain / time domain / either way ?

I had to force quit. tried it again and same thing. took the plug out of the channel strip and Logic worked perfectly again.

I tried a couple of the presets out and the more intensive ones also froze everything up. A friend just bought it as well, so I'll see if he's having any problems.
That's very unusual. We got a similar report from a Mavericks user with Logic Pro X. They're using a 2007 Macbook Pro with a Core 2 Duo processor.

Is it occurring in other hosts or is it only Logic? Also, does this happen with the interface closed, or only when open?

I haven't heard back from the other customer. If you can shoot us an e-mail at contact [at] unfilteredaudio, that will help for our records.

In the meantime, if anyone else experiences the same problem, please e-mail us! I'll check to see if there's some weird optimization incompatibility on older processors.
thanks for your reply. I wish I had thought to try it out in another host before writing my post. I am pretty slammed today, but I'll check it out in Ableton and Garageband and see how it does in those. will get back to you.
Cool, thanks! We've also gotten reports of the interface slowing down the meters in Ableton. We've figured out what's causing that and will be figuring out a fix. In the meantime, let me know how it performs in your other hosts!

My thought is that it's not Mavericks related, since I developed Sandman on Mavericks and only switched to Yosemite at the very, very end of development. Both of the really nasty Logic performance bugs were on Core 2 Duo processors. If someone else with a Core 2 Duo processor could download the demo and let me know what happens, I would really appreciate it!
I got a response from the other user, and the slow-down only occurs with the modulation panel open. If this is the same problem on your computer, then I will have a fix within the next day or two. The bug is caused by not putting a frame rate limiter on the LFO lamp animation, causing the animation to request too much priority on the graphics thread. This is the same bug that is causing Ableton metering lag when the panel is open. I apologize for this annoying bug!
tried it in ableton, garageband and logic again. yes, the problem is when the modulation panel is open. even if you're not doing anything with sandman, you can see the song scrolling strangely (in jumps and starts); close the panel and the song scrolls smoothly. sounds like your fix would do the thing. I'll send an email to the address you gave.

the short cut to return to start of song by hitting return is interrupted whether the panel is open or not. i have to use the mouse to hit the button to return to start. this happens in garageband and logic. while not ideal, its not the end of the world (i have a few other plugs that do this as well).

thanks for the quick replies and for looking into it. looks like your company is off to a great start.

Thanks! Just got your e-mail. In the meantime, if anyone else is having this same issue, let us know. We should have a fix within the week. The 1.0.1 update that comes out tomorrow will contain quite a few graphics fixes and optimizations, but the LFO lamps/modulation page slowdown hasn't been targeted yet.

32 bit demo does not install proper.when opening the plugin there is missing a file...

Post

Tried the Windows 32 bit demo; installed fine (including MS stuff) and runs fine in Reaper 32bit.

Yeah, lots of fun. :)

GUI is fine, perfectly usable though if you really were stuck for something to do then maybe make it resizable (like the Valhalla plugs). Maybe smooth the anti-aliasing on some of the text too.

So, big thumbs up over here. :)

This thread is full of wannabe-producers...

a 15bucks delay - are you kidding me? Never heard of anything more ridiculous.

Safe to say Elton John won't call any of you guys anytime soon.

Yes, same here - I really love these developers who release innovative high quality plugins for super little-money an are extremely nice and supportive to boot! I just doesn't get any better than this! :hail:

Hi everyone,

The 1.0.1 demo installers haven't seemed to fix the 32-bit issue for users. I'm working on a 1.0.2 build right now that will roll in installation fixes with graphics and audio optimizations. If you're a user that is *experiencing problems*, please shoot us an e-mail and we will send an installer for you to test. Thanks!

:hihi: :hihi:

perhaps we can persuade these guys to let us pay what we want. i've got sir elton booked for the whole of next month, and need a delay that costs at least $299 (i'd pay more, just to be even more professional-er) :ud:
