quantize doesn't do anything "yet" and I do miss "fixed length" but I'm pretty sure the dude said quantize was coming. Honestly though in bitwig it's easier to just grab a bunch of clips and use quantize from the inspector (with lovely options)

Not sure I can add anything to that. Mostly, all the little things I've come to expect are there. Honestly, things like tap tempo and metronome on/off are probably more important than anything else

.1UP KEY FEATURES
Advanced VST Multi-Out Sidechain Support
True Latency Compensation
Advanced Routing Capabilities (Audio/MIDI)

6 New Devices: Audio Receiver, Note Receiver, Note MOD, De-Esser
Multiband FX2 and Multiband FX3
New Modulation Parameters

The two videos are musician's porn.
This looks very, very promising. Working PDC, grouping, multi-vst-out and a lot more. Very impressing, wigs.
Considering the price I'm really thinking about making the jump from Live to Bitwig.
Release the cats!!!

CPU usage is still ridiculous: Ableton Live = 32 instances of SlickEQ, BWS = 18 instances until I hear clicks.
And I still can't run audio in BWS until I kill Adobe Flash Player in Task Manager or close my web browser.
The same happens until I close Foobar2000 or other multimedia player which are not using ASIO at all.
These kinds of things should not be happening. I had high hopes for this DAW, but this isn't even funny.
Bring on the cats.

Tom, you see, before fixing other people's posts, try to understand there are also others with the same problems.

I switched to Mac little while ago, but when I switched it wasn't working. That was about 1.0.15 I think.tooneba wrote:Last time I tried BW, non exclusive wasapi wasn't working. So I got same issue as you.

I know that there are many people with problems - I work in support
And I learned that there are basically two kinds of people:
- One sort finds a problem and tries to solve it.
- The other sort finds a problem and runs around shouting "It doesn't work, OMG, this isn't even funny".
The first sort can be helped, the second can't.
So if you are interested in finding the problem and hopefully solve it, you are welcome to report your findings to tech support: http://www.bitwig.com/en/support/tech-support.html
I can't guarantee that everything can be solved in a way that is acceptable for you, but you will never find out without trying.
Cheers,
Tom

I already said that I will do that as soon as I replace my graphic card, which will happen soon.ThomasHelzle wrote:I can't guarantee that everything can be solved in a way that is acceptable for you, but you will never find out without trying.
Interestingly, I never encountered such problems with any other DAW I have tried.

Yeah, Bitwig is different
And yeah, it's interesting in the sense that it would be great to solve it for you.
Cheers,
Tom
