Create a second melody from a first melody but similar both

How do I make a new melody 2 but similar to the melody 1?

Can it be done automatically by importing the midi ?

Attached two midi examples

One with the original melody1 and the other with the modified melody1

The two songs sound the same but each has a slight variation to make them look different .
