Hi,

Very sorry for the wait from us, spam filters seem to have been the culprit :dog:
We have now been in contact with Luftrum and the winners in order to distribute the products.

Unfortunately, I have experienced this a lot during this years charity, this is far more serious than I first imagined and it could potentially harm my business - I will have to re-evalute upon that and maybe I need to take a break next year and return with the charity in 2016.

I write a lot of developers (130 or so) in one email from my business email luftrum (a) luftrum.com. Then I follow up to those who I haven't heard from within 14 days. I may be a pain in the arse and annoying as hell for those who do not care about charity and I can easily imagine some companies clicking the "flag as spam" button.

I don't know how the spam processing works, but I imagine that if enough dev's click that button then my email get's flagged on email servers with the result as above.

This also means that regular business newsletters get's flagged too. :(

How is the view on swapping/selling stuff obtained in the auction?

I got some effects in a bundle that I will not use, and they can be registered separatly from the stuff I have taken in use.

Let's discuss this on another day. You know we are there to assist you.

You must do what you think is wisest.

But for the charity this year, I think it is now important for you to see the results, and when you get the appreciation from Save The Children when you present them with the cheque, at that moment all the hassle might just seem to be worth it :tu:

I know in previous years that the selling of auction items was not allowed since it meant that an individual could perhaps take advantage of a developers generosity to make a profit. I don't know if it mentions that on the front page this year??

I'm pretty sure everything is NFR ...

Note to bidders: It makes sense to assume, that all products on auction for charity are licensed as NFR (Not For Resale) meaning you cannot re-sell the software once you activate the license. I cannot speak for all companies on the list, but you have to assume that unless otherwise stated it's NFR.

But of course, feel free to write the company, who knows if they might do an exception?

I have a question for the other high bidder on "Synthmaster Standard License"

Did you manage to get the correct version from KV331?

Because what I got was the 'Factory' version with a list of about 30 expansion packs.

So I didn't know which one I was suppose to download and the ones I tried got this reaction:

You dont have a license to download the selected file.
Please purchase a license at http://www.synthmaster.com/purchase.aspx

I repeatedly tried contacting KV331 about this, but his reactions were 'rather scarse' and it is still not resolved.

I'm still confused ... :? :?:

Yeah, I guess that is the way to go, but I'll think a bit longer about if I cannot use them anyhow, before I do that.

What I was hoping was that swapping with other auction winners would be allowed, as I guess there are other users here who might have got stuff in bundles that not all of is of use of them.

And swapping inside the auction would kind of sandbox it, nobody could then say that anybody takes advantage of the giveaways from the devs.

The sample library donated by Cinematic Strings is all credit to KVR user -Jay- who asked the company if he was allowed to donate his own license to the 2nd hand thread for the charity, they decided to contribute with a new license instead. :)
I haven't being online much recently so have only just seen this. I'm very glad that this was finalised and I was able to contribute :) I would like to personally thank Luftrum, the generous developers and all the members who donated or contributed in anyway on here !

I've found newsletters from various companies that previously always went to my inbox, in my spam folder without me having flagged them so I think you are probably right.

Here's a link I found with some spam info that is pretty interesting: https://mailchimp.com/resources/avoid-spam-filters/

Useful link, thanks. http://mxtoolbox.com/SuperTool.aspx is a great resource for quickly checking whether one's IP address or domain is flagged for some reason - prompt action can often get one off a blacklist immediately.
