I'm in Australia and last year I paid $29euro (AU$38.31) for a pro plan (the one up from free) but this year I paid AU$53.10 - not quite twice as much but getting there. Should've been closer to $42 even with a temperamental dollar. I thought I'd get a few more things thrown in the deal, but it wasn't so?
I read the Soundcloud blog but didn't find anything. I also emailed their feedback line, but no response. What do other Aussies / Internationals think? There's a big thing over here about price gauging Aussies as it's perceived we earn more and are maybe richer (if that's true, our current government will soon put wealth back into coal company owner pockets).
I was a bit put out. But hey. Music right?
