for coming up with that tune so quickly, i can't deny its musical greatness. not exactly the metel competition entry eh

the starts and stops of this tune made this song great to me. yeah the vocals, guitars, bass etc etc were great, but the song structure was awesome.

The donkey comes in many err, flavours.

It is a little of a quirky arrangement this for sure, different length choruses , weird middle 8 etc..

I will probably ad some vocal harmonies at some stage but my voice was f**ked after the metel...

Ahh, its one of me usual suspects, '60s love bass' from the Sonic Reality bass collection.

New version up, well, since about 1/2 an hour ago, just added some little bits of harmony vocals at the end of lines etc.

I like this one a lot!

Only complaints: The arpeggiated guitar could be played a tad tighter and the sound IMO could bite a bit more as well. And the drums could be louder IMO, but I know you just like it that way.
The tune per se is just nice, even if I've never been too much of a fan of the Smiths (well - you did the comparison! I may not even have known...).

Hehe, played that arp bit bit on the fly, improv maaan!

Strangely I thoguht that the acoustics were a bit shite and that was ok.

That guitar was through the tube baby plug in so I'll have a go putting a bit more gain on it.

And you're right I do like the drums how they are, was going for a quite light brushy sound for once.

The acoustic guitars are just right. But rerecord the electric arpeggios when you're sober again!

And hell, the brushed drums are cool, but for my taste they're too much hidden.
