Relatives are asking me for Christmas suggestions and I thought that would be a good one. Problem is that I can't find out how to get one. Who publishes it? I Google up links and it takes me to Music Radar. Everything is looks like questionable links.

I am in the U.S.

Is there a way to get a digitial subscription that I can view on my P.C?

I see some third party link to myfavoritemagazines.uk or some such that describes subscriptions to Google Play, Kindle, etc. for like $39.99. That seems neat if it is real and how can I use any of those on my PC?

Thanks!

Music radar IS them afaik. There should be an easy sign up somewhere hmm.

Music Radar, Computer Music, and that myfavoritemagazines site all seem to be published by the same company, Future Publishing Limited, so I think that's the official place to buy CM. I'm not sure about the digital subscription, but they make it sound like it only works on ios and android. If you want a more complete digital edition, Zinio offers magazines, including CM, that can be read on PC as well as ios and android (maybe OS X too, not sure): http://www.zinio.com/www/browse/product ... =500258045 . I've used their PC reader before. If I remember correctly I had a bit of trouble downloading it (Firefox issue, I think), but once I got installed it worked fine.

Yes...I use Zinio subscription on both iPad and PC. Works really well on the iPad but, in my experience, somewhat clumsy on the PC. I read it on the iPad and download from the Vault the various included software, vsts, samples, etc. with my PC.

Sometimes yearly subscriptions are reduced in price however.

Looked into Zinio and it seems it only works on Windows 8 from what I read. I am running Windows 7. Hater to have to go out and buy some reader device when I am always at a PC.

What kind of world do we live in where you can't view Computer Music magazine on a personal computer?

There is the app for Mac and PC, Zinio Reader (http://ru.zinio.com/www/apps/desktop.jsp). It worked for me on Vista some times ago. The app is crossplatform, programmed with Adobe Air.
You also may read your issues of CM in your browser from your Zinio account.

Are you using it personally and currently? From what I see, I can access books and what not on google play from my PC, but they say only certain magazines are viewable inside chrome and that they will have a read button, but it doesn't seem like there is any way to tell which are and which aren't until you actually but them.

I got the reader to work on my PC, but then the problem is they only seem to offer the monthly subscription price of $3.99 an issue, while CM's website is offering a subscription of $39.99/year and they say you have to link the account, but only demonstrate doing so using Google Play. It doesn't seem like Zinio offers a "current subscription" function, but only lets you subscribe from them.

Just bought a single issue on Google Play to try it out. It does indeed work in Chrome. Wish they had made that clear in the first place on their subscription page!

Thanks man.
