It will take a while to prepare the dish, so don't ask when it's ready :D

And the topic for version 1.x is of course still here: http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... 1&t=393830

Important: stuff mentioned below is in development !

First addition: Sawtooth waves implemented in the overall voice-architecture. So you can combine a sawtooth with other waves like square and pulse can do together. And of course Multi-voice will give you the three detuned saw-waves like with square and pulse.

Mark-2 has new sliders :D

Don't expect anything soon, it's on the drawing-board so to speak ;)

I'll update the topic as we go, like I did with the first release 8)

Yes indeed a MKII. Can we have Verdana as the font please? :hihi:

Mark-2 will have a few skins to choose from, including a darker one aimed at visually impaired people with (probably) verdana for the decals.

Sawtooth waveforms and Multi voices.... Hmmm... Have you been inspired by a recent Hive of discussion by any chance?

Nope :D

I actually think that Ragnarök doesn't really need saw-waves, it's very capable without them. But Björn let me know we can have them for V2 and it's a nice addition, especially with the multi-voice option. Stacking a sawtooth with a square or pulse wave will give many more timbres to start from. And Björn really like to have them :hihi:

Mark-2 is about how we can expand Ragnarök within it's original scope of being a lead/performance synthesizer. So basically how we can get some more sonic options from it's underlying architecture 8)

Not a chance :smack: , that would make Ragnarök capable of doing the ultimate Christmas songs and being overlooked for any other sounds. Besides that, your star-wave has two back-in-time shifts per wave, Björn's software emulated flux-capacitor based reverse-time algorithm currently can only do one at a cycle :hihi:
