Would some type of resynthesis be a future feature for Spectral or is it not possible without a drastic overhaul?

Resynthesis is not possible, it just makes no sense with this kind of audio engine. Its basically do-able, however, it would turn Spectral in a much more complex thing which we just wanted NOT to have, because complex additive synth are already available
