So what did you actually buy this Black Friday?

I finally ended up with some MIDI Grooves from OddGrooves, the Lexicon LXP and Softube's Trident EQ.
If nothing really important screws it up by costing me a lot, I'm actually contemplating donating a couple of $$$ to this Thomas Mundt guy for his "LoudMax" louderizer, because it's free and basically on every channel of my tracks. I use it more than anything else that cost me money, so a few thank-you-$$$ would be the appropriate thing to do. [EDIT: donation complete.]
Screw indoctrinated discount-sprees, support the ones whose stuff you use because it's good and not because it's cheap. <3

I picked up an Analog Rytm. Elektron has a "Black Weeks" sale and my local retailer applied that discount to the already discounted price, so the machine cost €1170 (plus the cover). Still a rather large purchase, but I had wanted to get a bit into hardware to get away from the computer, and the Analog Rytm is the most groovebox-y of the Elektron devices I had been looking into. I'd eventually like an Octatrack and an Analog Four (or Analog Keys), too, but that won't happen for a while

Phew. I'm going to remove that list as it's a little embarrassing / slightly boastful.
The short version = "I spent a small forture".

Totally chuffed with this £205 worth of bargain.
Great lead sounds, arp is brilliant, step sequencer, and a great key bed.
Bought it mainly for practicing ( has built in performances, phrases ) but turns out it has some totally useable sounds too.

They've had an advertised special going for a bit now that's "15% off single qualifying item $99 or more in-store or online with qualifying coupon code CYBER15", extended but ending today. Give it a shot, should get you in that same ballpark.audientronic wrote:GC guy made a mistake in your favor, I tried to talk them into it but no go.lectrixboogaloo wrote:Bought bitwig cause guitar center guy said he could give it to me for $168.
