If a rhythm is defined in the essential beat, and I want the generated beats and fills to vary the velocities randmonly (by a certain amount) , can I do this without affecting deflection ?
If I use the humanization amount it affects both the velocity randomization (which i want) and the deflection (which I dont want).

Hmm, I don't follow, you want to very velocity, which means use deflection, yet you don't want to use deflection???

Maybe a misunderstanding :
I thought deflection meant hitting other pieces rather than the intended drum piece ?
I dont want that, only a controllable randomization of velocity.

No no, there's no parameter that would make it "hit a different drum", deflection does exactly what you want. Now my question is, how on earth did you end up with the that it plays a different drum?
Basically all of the parameters are inspired by what humans do - be inaccurate, don't play correctly, sometimes don't play at all (though the probablity is somewhat a creative parameter). I'm counting on the fact, that a reasonable drummer will be at least able to hit the right drum

Thank you for that clarification ! So it does exactly what i want
Just one more ( un related ) question :
If i use a stereo out version of mdrummer, i cannot apply effect pipelines to individual pieces or is there some workaround ?
Im trying to use mdrummer as complete drum solution and doing everything "in the box" without multi-outing . But the 16 fx pipelines only show if i use a multi out mdrummer.

In 1out version you can still use the per-drum effect pipeline. What you see in Effects tab are global effects however, for each output, which of course isn't available for outputs that doesn't exist

Yes it works great. In the Drumkit Editor , each kit has its own effects section ....This is truly a complete drum solution. There honestly is no point in multi-outing it, because it has way more awesome effects that your DAW
Thanks !
Thanks !
