My main computer uses W7 (my vote), but my other computer uses OS X 10.10.

Yep. I'd have to click 7 of the choices if I was answering the question (XP/Win7, OS 10.4/6/8/9/10).

still on MacOS 10.6.8

I'd wish that it would be possible to run this os on normal PCs...
Or that Emagic would re-emancipate from Apple.

I have Windows 8.1 on my PC but it's barely a skeleton any more for audio production. My work has been converted mostly to Mac. On my Mac I have 10.6 as the audio setup and 10.9 as the Internet/etc setup. I would love to just use 10.9 because I prefer the UI, but it's slower, and there are things still locked to old versions and Rosetta that I can't use in 10.9 (not that I'm really using those things).

If I buy a new Mac, I'll be forced to make lots of changes. Does Logic 9 still work on Yosemite?

Couldn't really answer accurately with just one as I use Windows 8.1 and Ubuntu 14 in about equal proportions

My computer isn't the newest one (some years old), so I decided that in 2015 I want to buy a new one with a new OS when the time is ripe and my bank account is filled up...
