Hi,

I was signed to sonic house records , 1 track of mine..
But. They just disappeared a couple of months ago..
Website, sound cloud, Facebook, email contact...just vanished off the web.

Can I resign my track they had, to another label ..now?
Originally they told me (when they existed) all I had to do was request they remove my track from there store sale sites(iTunes , beatport etc)to cancel my contract with them, the contract I had didn't have any term time or termination details ...

Cheers,

That sucks, I would be getting a hold of my lawyer to ask these questions. Still someone else who had a similar experience might be able to help on here.

unless your contract specifically says you cant...you can.

even so...send the request to have the track removed (as you were instructed to do). if you have no physical address to send it to and only an email...send it anyway. if that email address is no longer viable you will get a notification that the email failed...save that notification as proof that you did your due diligence.

its highly unlikely that anything would ever come if it if you just signed with another label anyway...but this will at least cover you should that happen.

Thanx for the advice..
Much appreciated ...
