Do you mean a VZ-10M? I used to have one of those too. But I think the editor is only compatible with the CZ series.

As I downloaded the demo earlier and noticed a lot of you wonder about stuff concerning VirtualCZ as an editor for the old hardware I'll just paste in a bit from the manual about that:
5 | Using VirtualCZ as a SYSEX Editor
VirtualCZ can send patches to the CASIO CZ synths (CZ-1, CZ-101, CZ-1000, CZ-3000,
CZ-5000). At this stage the CZ-230s is not supported.
The CZ synths use SYSEX dumps, which means the entire state of the synth is sent in one
go. This means it is not possible to send SYSEX messages to automate a single parameter.
Sending SYSEX from a computer to an old synthesizer can often be unreliable due to
various factors. Many USB MIDI interface drivers are poor quality and will have problems
with the significant amounts of data required by SYSEX. We recommend you use a high
quality MIDI interface and avoid sending SYSEX at the same time as other MIDI data.
The "TOOLS" button at the top of the plug-in’s interface is where you can perform SYSEX
sending commands (see Figure 5.1). You can SHIFT-CLICK the "TOOLS" button to send
SYSEX, as well as using the "Send SYSEX" item on the popup menu.
Figure 5.1: The TOOLS button/menu. SHIFT-CLICK to send SYSEX
There is also an option to automatically send SYSEX when a parameter is changed in the
plug-in (see Figure 5.2). This will send a SYSEX message every second if a parameter
has changed. This means that when you choose a preset in VirtualCZ or alter any control
the patch will get transferred to the hardware. Since the message is a SYSEX dump sent
every second, this is not suitable for automating parameters in real-time, and you are recommended
to turn it off during playback in your DAW and only use it during the process of
editing your CZ patch.

can you try another browser? The guys at plugin boutique can't reproduce, neither can I. Not sure why you can't see the download button. This is what it looks like for me. button circled in red.

I'm not a pro with IT, but maybe you need to update something like Java, Flash, or maybe grant access for your browser to some of those scripts.
But before you go thru that, try another browser first. The download works for me with Chrome v39, Firefox v35 and Opera v25

Hahaha... sure, your decision. But you should really give Chrome or Firefox a try. They ARE just much faster and more secure

Yes, the download expires. I tried to demo VirtualCZ twice and the last time I didn't find any download button. So I wrote a message to pluginboutique and this was the reply:hibrasil wrote:The demo doesn't expire and I didn't know that the download expires! Will check if that is the case and get it fixed if so.
"The demo's are time restricted because otherwise users could always download and use the demo.
I can speak to the developer and get your demo possibly extended but this wont be until after the sale period I am afraid".
I see the point, but it's a strange way to promote a new synth...

Changing from mseg to adsr changes the sound, it shouldnt. Adsr should preserve the sound. Any chance that will get fixed? Its a buy from me if it gets sorted.
