Ok. I LOVE Acustica and Aqua and Nebula. But this cryptic stuff is really tough to decipher. I want to know what I am buying because it's not enough to hear everyone say it sounds great for me to want try it.

I can't tell if this more of a track or mastering eq. There is company in England that likes to Focus on nice sounds and has a green eq. Gui certainly does not look like that though.

There is also a clean mastering eq that is known for being a great parametric clean hardware eq. Thinking George Makes Laughter. Anyways I understand that you can't disclose all the details. I'm glad you protect yourself because I don't want Nebula to ever stop what it does. But please at least pm me a hint that I couldn't mistake.

Are the Aqua plugins "wrapped up" Nebula plugins? I'm just wondering about the latency and cpu hit. I did have a look on the site but couldn't find the info (apologies if I missed it).

If you mean, do they use Nebula as an interface they don't, but they are derived from the same engine (I think). There's a little bit of latency, but apparently its to do with the way the technology works once engaged.

I absolutely love Trinity and Magenta is class too.

. When you say a little bit of latency, around what sort of times are we are talking about. Ages ago I tried the free Nebula and it added a massive amount of latency which wasn't a problem in it's self, but would dictate when in the process I'd use something like that. The issue I had with Nebula was the GUI more than anything hence the interest in this range.

In the meantime try CDSM's Songtec for Nebula, it's excellent.

By GUI alone then yeah I would say this looks like a GML.

The first letter of Green ties in with this and Acustica seem to be using this trend of (very subtle clues).

Amber - Avalon
Titanium - Tubetech
Orange - A-Range (Trident)
Magenta - Massive Passive
etc.

So one of my guesses was spot on.... I'm so proud of myself. Michael Angel told me 2015 will be a big year for porting over his libraries to an actual format. Cl1b is a good bet from my discussion and hoping his Songtec library also will.

No worries... Well, I'm not actually sure that latency is the correct term. But there is a short jump when the plugin is switched on. Apparently this is to do with the tech used. I don't find it too intrusive tbh, but there is a slight lagg as you turn on each band as well. Worth it for the sound quality imo.

^ Actually just logged in earlier and downloaded the couple of free plugins, didn't realise these were available when I first posted. Installed the Red EQ and Acqua Vox. I'll give it a little time before I come to any conclusions. But certainly they perform just like any regular plugins, a small amount of latency and nothing crazy going on with the cpu.

A quick observation though, I placed the Red EQ on the master bus but left the controls at default. I seemed to detect a change to sound with it on, when a/b'ing with and without. Does it process the signal with controls at default, or is it just my imagination?
