As of now, lux|nox will be hosting a series of FREE libraries for KONTAKT created by Dave Mayson (a.k.a. "Pingu" on VI-C). Previously, these were commercially available - but Dave decided to share them at no cost. The libraries are:

Boomwhacked
Bowed Cymbals
Bowed Xylophone
Extended Piano Technique
Water Cymbals
School Gamelan
Waterphone Hits
Whirly Tubes

Rocksuresoundz have added a pack of 51 free sound effects to the website. They can be used legally in commercial or non-commercial projects. The free sfx are available in mp3 format only, and cover a range of generally useful sounds. Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage, and you will find this pack. Available for download now at http://rocksuresoundz.com.

These are quite interesting, but it says "The download isn't available anymore", is it just me or they are gone?

They're great Libraries. Just had a look at you're right, they're not available at the present time. I've written to Chriss (from Lux Nox) and asked him if he will be making them available again.

Update 1: Chriss is checking it out.
Update 2: Chriss says ... I will make these available again shortly, apologies for not giving you a heads up... I'm a little swamped right now.
