ok we'll try to remedy and to increase perfection, lol
Each eq has different strenghts, anyway

The first letter of Green ties in with this and Acustica seem to be using this trend of (very subtle clues).

Amber - Avalon
Titanium - Tubetech
Orange - A-Range (Trident)
Magenta - Massive Passive
etc.

Cheers

quick note, orange was incorrect

I'll give it a little time before I come to any conclusions. But certainly they perform just like any regular plugins, a small amount of latency and nothing crazy going on with the cpu.

A quick observation though, I placed the Red EQ on the master bus but left the controls at default. I seemed to detect a change to sound with it on, when a/b'ing with and without. Does it process the signal with controls at default, or is it just my imagination?
no it adds harmonic distortion, phase, ...
Things are even more advanced in magenta, amber, green, because they add DYNAMIC harmonic distortion, being strip channels

Acquavox is an ancient product, we'll update our site with a bunch of free tools - and trial demos

Hmm... I don't think that they do as it happens. But I'll test Trinity, Magenta and Amber after work and I'll get back to you. :)

Aha! I thought it odd that the pattern didn't quite hold true for that one! The faders reminded me of the A-Range EQ and the whole "American sought after EQ" and Orange/Arange similarity fooled me!

I stand corrected (said the man in the orthopedic shoes!)

I once thought I had mono for an entire year. It turned out I was just really bored...

@Giancarlo, thanks for the info. Glad that I can trust my ears to an extent :D

@Robmobius, have a look at @Giancarlo response, where he confirmed stuff was happening on the Red EQ, but thanks for the offer of checking :tu:

Ah... I can't believe I missed Giancarlo's response. Go me!

At least we have an answer now from the man himself.

I've in itchy mouse finger for Green and Titanium. :)

Isn't the GML more loved from mastering engineers btw?The Sontec seems to be looked more for its price and prestige then its sound.

Actually, the installation process isn't too bad, when you know it. But I was trapped there for a wee while too. It's well worth the messing imo.

But it'd be better if it was a little less convoluted. :tu:

I really love Acustica product color named for clues. it is smart. the only one that did not feel well I think its the Red EQ since its a Joe Meek. no letter R ? and the Black comp. is an vintage 1176.. no letter B. but the rest is spot on. what will they do when they run out of colors?

so White will be what hardware? maybe a Wollensak old tube tape machine? ;)

Purple could be a lot of things ;) Ampex, etc...

Acustica could release a product called "Forrest Green" and capture an old Fairchild hahhaha

OK I will stop.keep the awesome work guys. love you!

Thanks for decoding, djscorb. Always wanted an 8200 and Nebula made it happen. I'm really digging the eqs. Hope they do an acqua Tube Tech eq similar to the Pultec in the future and a Sontec would also be nice. Just bit the bullet on the presale. I wonder how long before it will be available.
