Preventing iTunes from loading in Windows

I did some Googling to find out if I can install iTunes on Windows and then disable it from running on load, but couldn't really find anything.

The first thing that came to mind was to install it then change the settings for all the iTunes and Apple related services to manual start, but I'm not sure if there is anything else I can do to prevent anything from loading until I need it.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Otherwise use the RUN tool, then select msconfig press enter...then access the startup list

I know how to do that, but I was wondering exactly what it loads on startup, and what things to look out for that I can disable (that would start up if I started iTunes, and not before).
