Hi.
My problem is that when I render my project in FL Studio, the rendered file lacks one channel, no matter what is the output format. It has never happened to me before. The missing channel is kick, which is sidechained to two other channels, and in the rendered file you can even hear the compressing on those two sidechained tracks. I tried many ways and googled a lot and it's really frustrating as I can't find any solution and I want to get this track on Soundcloud already. Any ideas?
Also, I noticed that on every mixer channel output is set to "none", except for the kick, which has my speakers as output, but when I set it to "none" like the rest of the channels it completely mutes. So I set every channel's output to speakers, and nothing changed, it seems to be completely random.

are you using the latest version of fl studio?

you didnt say, but im assuming you can hear it just fine if you play it in song mode?

also you didnt say how you are trying to export or how you have the side chaining set up, but maybe this helps:

"Split Mixer Tracks - When selected, each Mixer track in the project is exported as a separate .wav file. NOTES: 1. This option does not export to mp3/ogg formats. 2. If you are using plugins with multiple-outputs to Mixer tracks make sure the Mixer tracks have names. This will ensure FL Studio knows they are being used and renders them."

for a work around you could try bouncing just that channel to an audio clip and use that.

Is there an option to set track outputs to "master channel"?

Post

You probably:
- Routed the kick channel to the other channels for sidechaining using the "sidechain only" option. As a result the kick is no longer on the master channel
- You couldn't hear the kick and fixed that issue by routing it directly to your speakers, bypassing the master channel

Fix:
- Set kick output to none, as with all other channels
- Send kick to the master channel as well as the channels with sidechaining (check the manual if you're stuck)

ok, I got it right by sending kick channel to master, thanks for answers :)
it's always the simplest solution that I somehow never see.
