Great plugs, never had any issues. But I can't tell about the licenses. Will see when I try to install them on my home setup. That will be the third time. First time on the studio MP, then on the new studio iMac. Brought the studio MP home and installed a fresh MacOS... hope I can still use them.

I think so. My 2 laptops know so many often modifications in their configurations that since 2007 I'm at about 25/30 reactivations for each synth of the KLC.jsp1979 wrote:I really don't think they keep track of the number of activations.
Or at least, it must be a pretty high number.
It's so common that I get on with it without seeing anymore as a real annoyance but rather as a usual ritual about each three months.
All the collection is so great that I don't hesitate to make this ritual (about 2 minutes each one, not the death) to enjoy my synths.

... hem... who never used any of these Korg synths if I recall correctly.dumbledog wrote:I love the Mono/Poly so damn much. Set up the arp to cycle through the four Oscs, tune them to sevenths or whatever, put in a delay and boom, regular as Kraftwerk.
(except a Korg PS-3100, 3200, and 3300 I think, and only on stage, no?)
But maybe I'm wrong, I don't affirm anything. Someone of us could say with more certitude?

Another one for thinking they dont really keep track of the activations. There was a one month period during which I probably activated the same ones 5 times (reinstall of vsts, reinstall of ableton, installation of bitwig, changing the bridging method in bitwig triggered again, and another bitwig update all triggered re-activation)

Thank you. The price is very tempting.tapper mike wrote:As someone who owns all of the above.
Yes, in particular Wavestation and M1
I always fall back on the M1 as my goto sound library.

After installing the Legacy Coll. on a new computer, I have to re-authorize on a regular basis, the license keeps re-setting itself. As someone else said, support is at best.. How should I put it? Absent..
Plugs are great though!

Hi all,
If somebody can help me with an answer, I'm interested only in polysix and ms20 from the collection, so if I buy only these, the legacy cell is included? Thanks

I'd vote for M1 and Wavestation. Both are great *digital* synths. You can use them only as ROMplers or you can do some incredibly complex programming with Wavestation. Don't care much about the analog emulations.
The activation system is a real pain in the ass - randomly needing re-activation all the time. Eventually I got so fed up with it that I just had to take some countermeasures. Otherwise these plugins just work and I think that the lack of support from Korg is no problem at all as I just can't see any need for it.

Thanks for the recommendations robotmonkey, I'm more of a preset user and the sounds of m1 and wavestation did't convince me.
so, do you know if I receive legacy cell with only 2 synths purchased?
