put fx version on an FX send .. route 15 audio tracks to it .. automate audio track faders, eqs etc... Instant wave table.
Is that what you do? hmm

i'll just be happy if the extended transmod has a toaster in it, i loves a bit of toast when i'm synthesizing

Sounds great, please include possibility to set GUI for example at small 100%, medium 125%, large 150% etc, so that it ALWAYS opens at this size, not everyone like arbitrary scaling. For example MotU Mach5 v3 has this feature of three different predefined sizes.
That's very much the plan.

Just to give you an idea of the CPU efficiency gains - 32 voices @ 8x oversampling can run on as little as 30% of one core on an i5-2500, though it's more than that once you add supersaw and effects.

@Waza
How are you doing the Fx's will you have to load up fusor to get access the delay and reverb or can you just load up the instance of strobe?
Just load up Strobe. It has a couple of reverb algorithms and a couple of delays, as well as most of DCAM Dynamics, an upgraded version of the Amber chorus unit, a few EQs. Six effects slots all with full 16-slot TransMod (although not polyphonic on the effects yet, sorry!)

really excited to see the new version, still rocking v1 and it's still the most analog sounding soft synth group I have . I rediscovered Fusor a few months ago. Beast !

how is the price for an upgrade from v1 to v2?

looking really good.

Post

I hope the upgrade price is going to be pretty reasonable. What is the DSP usage like?

Also when are you guys going to update your Tres Rack Extension with more voices of polyphony?

"CPU-wise, v2 is lighter than v1. Especially on x64, and especially on Sandy Bridge and later CPUs."

@v1o Tres was designed to be, and will remain, a monosynth. It may be possible to make an RE polysynth with the oscillator/filter developed for Strobe2, will see where the RE SDK is at by the time SS2 is done.

Why not release each synth as they're ready. I'd take Strobe 2 bugs and all, that sounds great!!!

Oh and add new synthesis modes to Tremor, and a very basic one shot sampler. Cheers!!!

That's the plan. Well, minus the bug bit.
