Please explain. I only use the one in the main window, piano roll, and playlist. What's tool groove snap? All I was saying was that I didn't get why there's 1/2 Beat 1/4 Beat 1/4 Step etc. Every other Daw has the normal quantize settings for instance 1/16 notes.

Can't be bothered to read all the whinging and counterwhinging. However, on a positive note, I started using the v12 beta last night to find a happy little surprise waitin for me in it - no messing around to get it see my pitch & mod wheels as pitch & mod wheels. Just worked straight away. Sweet. Always seemed a bit of a headscratcher that one.

So far, I'm liking it alot. Some nice touches on the mixer such as being able to multi-select and move sliders as a group. It feels nicer and smoother to use use too, although that might be a kind of psychosomatic effect.

At first I was slightly missing the old plugin list w/favourites tickboxes, but after setting up my main plugs and ignoring a bunch of other ones I don't use much (that are still easily findable in the Installed section anyway) I'm getting used to it. Never been a fan of the plugin-picker thing so, I'm happy it's all made available in the browser now.

Not done much in the way of arranging yet, so haven't given the playlist/sequencer part of it a proper run-through....anything new or different in there?

Same thing, different labels as I see it.

Many synths and effects use different terms for their synced parameters.
1/4 beat is usally the same thing as 1/16, 1/2 beat is usually the same as 1/8 etc...

So many synths and effects use their own sync time conventions that I'm used to it now.

Just wondering also...will I be able to just copy & paste the custom folders in the favourite/added with the "Add to plugin list" bit when 12 proper comes out and have them work, or will I have to go through adding them again with each update?

One more positive for me: Being able to add the plugins in the state that they were in when added - I can set up my default Diva to load with the settings how I prefer to start from, and my channel tools - saturatotion and eq's and such with parameters all ready set up for common usage. That's a time saver in the long run for me, and possibly makes up for the time spent adding the favourites.

Having more fx slots is a bonus too. Always an easy thing to work around, but it's nice to know there's more room to fit another one in without having to muck around with routing to another mixer track.

FL STUDIO is by far the best sequencer ever.its the only DAW i know that uses both MIDI And STEP SEQUENCER and can interchange a STEP SEQUENCER with midi.one of the many reasons why i choose FL studio for music production and sound design.

By far THE BEST damn Piano Roll that's ever been featured in Daw. Nothing comes close. Period!
